I feel like I'm doing something wrong here. The Qfan control is really finicky and it never seems to be consistent. I have everything set to full speed, but I don't actually think all the fans are running at full speed. When I set the CPU fan profile to standard it ramped up to 2500 RPM but when I set it to full speed it went down to 2000 RPM.

I'm using the stock Intel cooler, and the case fans are a cheaper version of Corsairs AF140 (came with the corsair case). I'm not sure what model they're modeled after. The quiet models run at 1150 RPM (in which case would make sense)

But I still have a nagging feeling that I'm doing something wrong. What could I be doing wrong?

If I remember correctly those case fans should be 3 pin fans, so you would want to have the DC box selected (Top left PWM/DC box, I cant really tell witch one is selected to me looks like PWM is).

Quantum Chaos: i7 6850K | 2x Strix 1080Ti SLI | MSI X99 SLI Krait | 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX | Samsung 970 EVO 500GB | 3TB WD Red RAID 1

I do select DC but they just switch back to PWM and the speeds are the same.
