I need help picking an ITX mb. Have browsed reviews for days now... Can't find anything under 150$ that hasn't got a major flaw.

Since i want to put it ina Corsair Obsidian 250D it has to be an ITX mb.

Would there be anything cheaper then a EVGA Z87 Stinger (around 230$). Pref something below 150$ that dosn't catch fire if you look at it the wrong way.

All reviews i've read have either a build quality flaw or just die at some point. Some have problemems with SSDs and so on..

Looking for a mb for casual gaming and some photo editing (nothing that would require special hardware)

This one is a bit over your budget, but well worth it. Many people have reviewed this board and all say its fantastic. Check out the review by JayzTwoCents.

Well, it's hard to narrow it down without knowing exactly what he needs (official devils canyon/broadwell support, m.2/sata express, color schemes, etc...); and all those boards are perfectly fine boards.

Don't really care about most of the things. 4 sata interfaces is enough. Color--no matter. I just have a problem with reviews where more then a few people say that their mb just died after abour 3 months or that the usb 3 port on the mb broke just because the wire from the front ports was a bit stiff.... OFC there were problems with some MBs that they just wont shut down or restart. So many different problems. And not just 1 or 2 but 10 or 20 people...

You're correct, those would all be very well performing boards.

All boards will have their doa and random shit luck issues. But you need to take reviews with a grain of salt as disgruntled users are FAR more like to post a review.

Anyway any of those would be fine choices. Make your decision based on what cpu you're getting (z97 for 4690k/4790k, z87 if it's much cheaper and 4670k/4770k), the number of sata ports, z97 if you want m.2/sata express, and the i/o as well as board layout/appearance.

Well there is the Asus Z97 m-itx or if you want Z87 the Z87i deluxe, then there is H-series if you don't want to overclock

I am getting a Z87i deluxe for my current scratch build, becasue of the colour scheme i like the older Z87 and it has awesome 12 phaze vrm  and beautiful layout

got to love Asus components
