Urgent Help

So my friend re-installed Windows 7 and everything was perfect until he noticed his sound was not working. I tried installing him audio driver from Gigabayte and back audio didn't work and front one worked for one second but than it stopped and now it doesn't work at all. Everything works on motherboards but for some reasons he have no sound.

is the sound enabled in the BIOS?

did you look in control panel/sound and see if it points to the realtek audio instead of what installed with your graphics card. ( that would be HDMI )

have you tried going to playback settings, and disable the sound source then enable it

I think its disabled in BIOS, will check now.
