Hello today me and my cousing clened the tust from gpu and cpu and when we put back parts and we turned it monitor showed just black screen idk what happened but my thought we might broke it with statical discharge tell me when you guys think and please help me btw when we put vga cable to intel graphics onboard it works perfectly there were 2 pets around us but we didnt touch em so... and we checked all cables they are connected just fine please help me

Are you 100 % sure you plugged the gpu connectors back in. I always forget to when i open up my system and have no idea what happened.

 

Edit: plugged the cables into gpu (and psu if its modular)

How did you put the gpu in the mobo (ie did you pull the little lever at the end of the slot and then push it in. Lastly is your gpu overclocked?

No offense but I can tell English isn't your first language and your post is a little hard to read.

yeah my english is really bad none taken :) yes killswithci did it like that and no its not overcloked

r u sure it a vga cable?......

 

 

if it has a hdmi cable input and it good to check the monitor as well. also if the graphics card is second hand it maybe dead..... did you get it from ebay?..... 

 

 

did your pets play with the graphics card?...........

pets didn't touch anything and we didnt touch em atleast me, card isn't second handed, im not sure if it has hdmi input

Are you sure your BIOS hasn't disabled using the PCIE slot for graphics. Some BIOS' give you the option of either onboard on PCI/PCIE check there if you have it.

 

EDIT: Do you have anther slot you could try the GPU in? Also what are your PC Specs?

what make of graphics card have you got?

 

you may have to go through hdmi and are you sure it not a dvi?.... and if you can send a picture of the graphics card to the topic plaz.

he has AMD gpu its weird that before cleanup we used DVi-I input and it was working fine yeah we made sure that pcie slot is enabled you can see my pc specs in my profile but its my pc not mycousin's :)

Did you try installing it in another slot?
