I just installed a new GPU (Asus r9 290) and power supply (Corsair CX750) into my computer. Unfortunately i have a problem. My computer is randomly restarting without warning and no BSOD. It happens when playing games or when surfing the internet. I went into event viewer and it says Kernel-Power 41 (63) which im guessing means not enough power. but I have a corsair CX 750 watt to power my asus r9 290. Is it not enough power to support my system?????? does it matter what 8 pin and 6 pin i use to plug into my GPU? Or is it something else.

Specs:

Gigabyte Ga-78lmt-s2p Motherboard

Phenom 2 x6 1045T stock cooler

2 x 4gb Corsair vengeance RAM

Asus r9 290 4gb directCU II

Corsiar cx750

old laptop hard drive

OCZ 128gb SSD
