Deciding between two monitors

Building a new pc, parts are on there way.

Now I'm down to buying a new monitor as it's time for an upgrade.

 

The two that I am trying to decide between are the,

 

Samsung U28D590D - http://www.samsung.com/us/computer/monitors/LU28D590DS/ZA

 

And the Asus PB278Q - http://www.asus.com/au/Commercial_Monitors_Projectors/PB278Q/

 

As far as price the Samsung I can get for $470 and the Asus is $590.

 

Just wanting to hear peoples personal opinions on the two. 

 

It will be used for mainly gaming, as well as some productivity.

I think I have never seen a Samsung monitor that didn't suck... well, maybe 8 years ago. Teksyndicate reviewed this one (or a similar one, 4K from Samsung anyway) and guess what? It sucked.

Cheap 4K monitors have TN panels which sucks at color accuracy and viewing angles. The 1440p Asus has IPS panel which is the other way around.

I don't think cheap 4k monitors will be good for any gaming. Asus is known to be a more reliable as well.
