I have found 280x for 340KM really cheap, that man lives in same town that i do..
And there is some warranty left, but im not sure if GPU is used for Mining or Gaming..

But i can test that GPU so how can i test it to see if it was used for mining or if GPUS is okay?.

Uh... no real way to KNOW if the card was used for mining. My hint is to take the cooler off, and see if the thermal paste is all eaten. Or ask the guy.

Ask what it was used for and if you could test it. If not, ask to see it working. If he doesn't, he either doesn't want to sell it that bad or the card is messed up. You also need to figure out if the warranty covers cards used by secondhand owners.

There is no way to tell a gpu is used for mining before. My advice is make a deal with him that if around a week if the card dies you get your money back but if the warranty is still there i wouldn't worry much. You could always ask him what did he used the card for too

Yeah just come to his house and run a couple of benchmarks like furmark, unigine,3dmark if the card run those test fine then great.

That'll work. If he would let you to, nhatduy1611's idea is best.

when tests are done, how can i know that GPU is okay? what will it say?

If the gpu run through the test with no crashing or artifact poping up then congrats the gpu is fine. After the benchmark it will show you a score

what is good score?

Depends on the preset. And on the CPU used. And on the memory. And on the Mobo. And the particular cooler used. And the silicon lottery.

Really, just check if nothing is wrong with the card.

Well every system is different so just look up online how other 280x score and compare them. Linus tech tips forum also has threads about benchmarks score . If you need more help just ask the people on the forum i know alot of people here have a 280x in their rig.

All of them. I would run 3dmark firestrike first then unigine valley and heaven then finish it off with 30 min of furmark burn in test just to make sure everything work. Running some games is also a good idea if you can.

Is your system listed in your profile the one you going to put the 280x in ? If that's the case then don't bother.

So? What CPU do you have in that sys? And what do you want to acomplish with it?

400w is not enough for the 280x. Wait until you get the new 500w psu first.

you said "400w is not enough for the 280x. Wait until you get the new 500w psu first."

and i said my new PSU is 500W not 400W

You said this" I have new one but its not finished..

I need 2 more parts

GPU

PSU (Cooler Master B series 500W)"

So that mean you don't have a gpu and a psu yet so i said wait until you get the new 500 psu first before getting the gpu.
