Z*7 is just a chipset, you generally want to go with the newest that supports your cpu, unless you dont need the features, and want to save some money

yeah of course, if you need wifi, get that or go check MSI/ASrock/Gigabyte as well, some may have a cheaper option with WIFI

oooh, then dont really plan too much ahead, since alot can change. in H1 2015 Skylake should come out, as well as Broadwell K.
