I am building a gaming pc and need some help choosing a motherboard. So far for my build I have a intel i5 4690k, a gigabyte gtx 970, 16gb of g skills ripjaws x ram, and a samsung 850 evo 250gb. I already have a case and keyboard and monitor. ( WHAT MOTHERBOARD SHOULD I GET?) It's a gaming pc and I will be overclocking slightly and I just want a all around good motherboard my budget is max $300 but preferably under $200. Thks for the suggestions :)

All motherboards performs essentially the same. Since you are on Intel, you don't need that much power phases.

Main difference would be # of USB ports, SATA, PCIe slots and such.

Are you aiming for a particular color scheme for your build?

CPU: 5820K GPU: Gigabyte G1 970 RAM: 16 GB Crucial Ballistix Mobo: EVGA m-ATX Cooler: Corsair H100i Case: Xigmatek Aquila PSU: NZXT 700W Monitors: 2 x Wasabi Mango (1440p)

Do you play Go/Baduk/Weiqi? I am AGA 4D.

What form factor is your case? Or rather, is there a particular motherboard size you want?

Also, please follow your own thread

Im really sorry I dont remeber the case name all I know is that it is a corsair obsidian case but its big so you shouldnt worry about size. And also I did some research and found that this board looked pretty good

ASUS MAXIMUS VII HERO LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard, or the z87 version of it.
