Default Case Power LED Mod

I am trying to change the power button LED on my CM Storm Stryker from red to blue. I would like to know how would I change the Power LED on my case. Many people have told me to remove the default one, get a LED attached to a wire, and then solder it on. Is there any more efficient ways? If not how would I go about the process on installing a new power button LED? Any recommendations would be greatful!!! ;)

Nope...

 

You get a soldering iron and a multitester...

 

Desolder the old LED.

Test for which wire is positive and which is negative.

Solder on the new led.

 

Make sure the polarity is right otherwise it won't work...

100% right. Pretty straight forward just follow the current.
