So, it looks like Metro is finally running on T-Mobile's network. I'm on T-Mobile right now, so let's say I were to switch over to Metro, would I get the same coverage...?

(This may seem like a stupid question, but I'm just confused.)

Hm, alright. Because they have an unlimited LTE plan for $60...whereas the same plan on TMo is $80, but you do get more features with that $80.

Really? Unlimited LTE, as in no throttling after let's say 1GB?

Their plans go $40 for 1GB then throttled, $50 for 3GB then throttled, then $60 for unlimited high speed data, and they describe that as LTE on their website.

I personally have the T-Mobile unlimited 4G and it does not get throttled.

That joyous feel when you can work around their hotspot limitations and enjoy downloading steam games wherever I want.

+ I got it when it costed $70 and it stays like that.

60 bucks. That would be 120 total for my parents to have unlimited LTE. They already pay 80 bucks for 1GB then throttled, combined.

Nice. How are you able to get around the hotspot limitations? And are you using their legacy CDMA network or the Metro on the T-Mobile network?

I don't know of any US carriers that shaft people that badly... What carrier are you on right now?

Cricket, but it's ATT's network. But it's 40 bucks a line, hence 80 bucks total.

Oh, that it was for an individual plan. $80 for 2 people isn't too bad I guess... So long as both get their own gig of data.

Yep, but I was convincing my parents to go with TMobile's 2 lines of unlimited LTE data for 100 bucks. I'm really sick of throttled data.

There are some apps and APN things that you can switch around to work it.

There is probably a contract with that, just a warning.
