not sure if this has been poster anywhere before and if it has delete or lock the post xD.

Basically my room gets really muggy and warm around this time of year, and my pc generates some heat aswell so it gets worse :(

i was wondering if their is a logical way to make some cold air for my computer to actually intake so it is actually cold rather than taking in warm stuffy air from my small room.

even using a normal room fan doesnt do alot....it blows the hot air round.

anyone any ideas without buying an air conditioning unit or whatever!

Without using a heat pump (i.e. air conditioner)? Make over sized ice cubes and strap them to a fan. Use a drip tray and replace ice cubes every couple of hours.  :P

I have always wanted to make a miniaturized heat pump for a PC. Have we any refrigeration engineers on this forum? Buy a small scroll compressor, some copper piping, two watercooling rads, expansion valve and arduino micro-controller. How hard can it be?  :P

hmmm, not entirely sure to be honest. Might do if your room is humid but I guess you could use a lose fabric to filter the cool air to catch moisture. Trial and error maybe  :D or at the very least use it to cool the room instead of directing it at the computer. Just suggestions  ^_^
