Current system bottleneck?

I'm not really familiar with the whole identifying a bottleneck thing. A few people have said my current CPU is the bottleneck. Is this true?

You should be fine, especially if you OC your CPU slightly. You'll probably only have something to worry about if you get a high end GPU later on down the track.

So any card under 300 USD won't be bottlenecked? I'm planning to upgrade mine when the new year comes around.

Depends man, I have a GTX 970 on one of my rigs paired with a terrible CPU (AMD 6800k) and i get pretty crazy bottlenecks... I get about 40FPS more when I throw the 970 onto my main gaming rig with a 4770k. Just make sure you do your research and you should be fine.
