Power supply would be big enough, try to get an FX 8320/8350 IF possible. Overwise, overclock.

Its an alright motherboard, but I would recommend getting one with the 990FX Chipset, it is better, and maybe can overclock better

SHAMEFUL DISPRAY

If you havent purchased anything yet, you are much better off buying an i3 or i5.

What is your overall budget, location, intended use for the machine?  Also, do you have anything already purchased, or anything that you can reuse?  Do you need operating system, monitor, peripherals?

will a fx6300 bottleneck a sapphire r9 280x

and will 450-550w power supply be enough for it

should be no problem, i run 2x 7790 in crossfire of a FX6300 cpu and never a problem so sure it will manage a single R9 280x.

i see your now asking about motherboards? do you have any components yet? are you looking at a budget AMD build or something?

got to love Asus components

that 6300 is not going to work well as it will bottleneck that 280x, if you can grab an 8320/8350. If not maybe go for an i5 or i3.

If you get an FX 8320/8350 u will need a motherboard with a 990FX chipset
