Only 1 storage device showing

Hello all. When I go into my computer , only my SSD is showing. My computer boots off of the SSD, but I need them both to show so I can start installing files on my main drive (which is a HDD) and not my SSD. Both of the drives show up in BIOS and in device manager, which I think is strange. Any help is much appreciated!

Is the HDD out-of-the-box new? You might have to go to Disk Management and format it before being able to use it.

It might be that your disk doesn't have drive letter assigned and windows will not display it.

Go to Disk management, select disk that is not displayed and right click Change Drive Letter and Paths...

Ah yes, it is showing up in disk management as unallocated, how do I format it?

Right click on the unallocated bar and click "Create Partition", and run through the setup wizard.
