Hey guys,

Planning my first build. What parts would you recommend for casual gaming etc.

I am looking at the Thermaltake Level 10 GT case snow edition.

Not set on anything else at the moment. Budget is approx $1500, Living in Australia

Thanks!

This would be a great guide for you:

However, for purely gaming, you may want to go for an AMD 7950. Another great idea is to go on Linus' channel and search benchmark showdown. There, you will see a variety of cards at different pricepoints and how they perform playing popular titles. For purely gaming, AMD is the better choice right now. However, if you are doing video editing, you may see a benefit with Nvidia's CUDA cores.

Here you go: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/18kyn

I'd recommend getting a cheaper case if you're not set on it to save some money for other parts.

I skipped the cooler since you can do a 4.2ghz overclock on the 3570k with the stock cooler as long as the case has decent airflow.

You don't need anything more than 4ghz for most gaming unless you're pushing more than 2 780's in sli.
