Use the ram slots with the same colour and try again

HMM, man thats difficult

Clean the golden ram pins on the bottom of the ram module. (with a dry towel paper)

EDIT: If this didn´t work, unplug the powercable from your powersupply and remove the mainboard battery (silver/chrome coloured penny sized) for atleast 30 seconds. (Ground yourself on a metal door frame or something like that before you start working)

Is your BIOS at the latest version?
If not, try updating it.

Reset your BIOS to default settings, and try again.
MAny motherboards have a "MemOK" button. Press that.

Read your manual to find the proper slots to populate.

Are both RAM sticks of the same thing?
Mixing RAM, while not always bad, can cause issues like this.

And also try the RAM in another PC if you can.

Paper towel can leave fibers.

Use a coffee filter or something, and 90% or higher Isopropyl Alcohol to clean contacts.
