Problems with oribinal crysis?

Hello I have a question regarding the original crysis and its performance. So I should have no problems running the original crysis however when I try to run the game it just crashes. I think this may have something to do with the fact that I have windows 8. When I ran the game on windows 7 it ran fine but now on 8 it won't start. I did some research and the only solution that I found was to run the game in 64 bit however the prolem with that is even at the lowest settings I still get less than 30 fps. Does anyone know a fix to get it to work? Thanks for any help.

Ok well I play on my laptop. It has an amd a10-4600m apu with radeon hd 7660g graphics. I can play darksiders 720p just fine and witcher 2 at medium settings but crysis runs terribly.
