GTX 760 bottleneck

Go to solution Solved by QueenDemetria,

So guys just yesterday I got a gtx 760. Currently I have a P7P550-E LX motherboard with a i5 760.Now this motherboard only supports PCI-E gen 2 at 16x but I want my ssd to preform good so if I press the IO level up butten it will turn my PCI-E 2.0 16x to a PCI-E gen 2 8x. If I run my gpu on that PCI-E gen 2 8x will it bottleneck my gpu because it has less bandwith?

Nope, you will be fine. A single GPU doesn't require that much bandwidth.

GPUs are relatively bandwidth light, so it should be fine on that.
