I'm doing a post test. I've installed my cpu (i5 4690k) CPU cooler (h100i) ram (2x4 corsair vengeance) GPU (gtx 970) and my PSU (EVGA 750 gold) I have my 24 pin cable into my motherboard the 2x 4pin cable for my CPU and 2x 6pin for my GPU I have also used a Sata cable for my H100i. The CPU isn't bent in anyway from the human eye either is the motherboard. All the right cables are in.. So what is the matter. When I turn on the monitor, turn on the PSU I press the little button on my ASUS Sabertooth the pc powers. There is a green light that indicates power to the motherboard and there is a permanent red light which is the CPU LED. The pc dosnt do anything else it just stays red until I switch it off again.

Please help.

The red light is normal. If it starts blinking, then there's probably something wrong. But the red light is normal.

Oh, there's no signal?

That'll likely be your GPU, then.

I don't think its the GPU that's the problem; I tried integrated HDMI with the motherboard

And still nothing. Is there a wire I've forgot to put in. At the moment I'm using 24pin for motherboard, 8 pin for CPU, 2x 6pin for GPU, 4 pin and sata power lead for H100i

Did you remove the GPU when you tried onboard HDMI?

Thank you.

Hey, try resetting your BIOS. There is a jumper which will reset it, or just take out the motherboard battery for about 10 mins or so. That usually works for me. Just don't forget to unplug the power too lol. Then try again from the onboard HDMI. Make sure everything is clicked in, RAM, GPU, ALL power connectors. Then make sure your monitor's input is set right. Lastly, cpu (check very closely for bent pins on motherboard with a flashlight).
