GPU and CPU overheat

Go to solution Solved by Liam-McShane,

Just cleaned it 5 mins before doing a stress test.

How old is it? Have you thought about changing the thermal paste? Don't bother spending any money until you've done the simple stuff first. Nothing in your PC is technically overheating. The CPU is close though and above comfortable range. The GPU temps are perfectly normal though.

Definitely. Those temps are too high for a normal pc.

Try adjusting your fan curve with something like MSI Afterburner for lower gpu temps. And if you can then install a liquid cooler. You don't need a completely new system.

Ahh i just looked up the case. First of all you DEFINITELY need a new case. I recommend the Phanteks Enthoo Pro or the Zalman MS800

xD, going to microcenter later today or tomorrow.  gunna check out some cases and new parts.

I would do some research into cases first. Make sure you get one with good airflow.

Reseat the cooler and install new thermal paste to check.
