My brothers got me a Logitech G930 wireless gaming headset for Christmas. While I appreciate the present and resent exchanging presents I have run into a strange issue. In Tomb Raider 2013, entering "Survival View" plays a low pulse.  With these new headphones there is a static pop at the beginning of the pulse where there hasn't been before. I have confirmed with my old headphones that the pop wasn't there before.

I have recorded the sound with Nvidia Shadowplay but it sounds fine while playing from the video file rather than in game.

Would this be an issue with the headset being wireless or is it just because it is not a high quality pair of headphones. (I would have preferred to get a modmic and attached it to my headphones but like I said before, I feel it's rude to exchange a gift).

Thanks for your help guys and have a Happy New Year!

EDIT:

This video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrooQrIu2Ww at about 7.5 seconds is the first thing I've found that can replicate the static from the game, but in the video it is a lot more subtle than in game.

What I'm looking for:

Best Case Scenario, something that I can do with this pair of headphones that will remove that issue in this and other games

Second Best, if this can be fixed by getting the wired version of this headset

Worst Case, exchange this for a mod mic and get a better pair of headphones for home use later
