$50-$75 CPU Heatsinks

I am looking to get a new CPU heatsink and with a price range of $50-$75 a little less or more. Also is there any that are quiet and have great performance? I saw some ID-Cooling and Cryorig heatsinks but never head of these brands before. The CPU I have is an AMD Phenom II X4 940 AM2+. Most test reviews are done on Intel CPU's not AMD.

Well, that's a 125w TDP chip, so I'd actually probably start with the H100i for around $100. It's out of your price range, but I'd still try to get it. Barring that, the Cooler Master 212 Evo is probably going to be the best you can do. You might be able to find marginal improvements on it near your price range, but I'd probably get the H100i for a chip with your heat output.

You could also consider the Seidon 240m as it's a bit cheaper (like $90), but most people prefer the H100i.
