My front panel USB ports don't recognize my wireless mouse

Gidoguy

I finished my PC build recently, everything worked fine, the computer runs smoothly. However, when I come to plug my USB wireless mouse into my front panel USB ports, it doesn't show up. I tried putting it into my mobo USB ports, and it works fine. (I can't use the rear ones because my mouse keeps loosing range and lagging due to where everything is situated), I plugged in my keyboard and external hard drive, both of these show up and work fine. It's not my mouse, it's not the front panel USB ports, what is it?

Note: I've done all the driver stuff, uninstall and reinstall etc, I'm no idiot

did you try using anything else with the front ports, it might be a frayed wire or bad mobo connector for USB

[insert stuffs here]

I have had this issue sometimes with USB 3.0 ports on the front IO, but never USB 2.0 ports, i might try hooking the front USB inside your case to a different USB header and see if that fixes the problem. I would also check the little circuit board where all the connections plug in up top to make sure nothing got yanked on.
