Moving my Router?

I want to move my router but I have that unmovable cable so is there a fast alternative to moving it or even how do i move it? I really need to move it so I can move my computer to another room.

You can route an ethernet cable or use power line. Wireless might work, but depending on your set up you might sacrifice speed and/or latency(ping).
