Hello,

I am new to here. I am planning to get myself a new PC but unfortunatly I dont have any idea of Computers. Thats why I signed in here and would like to ask you for help.

1. Budget & Location

500 Euro max. (less would be nice, but if its not possible to do keep it under 500 I will have to accept that), I am from Germany

2. Aim

Mainly Gaming (World of Warcraft, Dota 2 and maybe some else)

No high graphics, focus is on performance. Nothing too big, just good performance. Other use: Browsing, listening to music, (webcam) conversations via Skype and and Teamspeak.

3. Monitors
I will use only one Monitor

4. Peripherals

I will have to buy a new OS (Windows 7, or any other recommendations here?), a new screen and else. I only own a mouse, keyboard and speakers at the moment.

5. Why are you upgrading?

I am using a Laptop since some years, I bought it when I didnt play videogames at all. But now I would like to get back into it, and games simply run terribly bad on it. Thats the reason why I would like to get myself a new PC.

I hope I can get some help here. Thank you very much for taking the time and reading this all.

I wish you a Merry Christmas and a wonderful new year.

This is what I get without a GPU on the German PCPP. I could save around 30 euro's on the case, PSU and maybe the RAM but not more. Going FX-6300 wouldn't differentiate much. If I saved 30 euro's I could get a 280 on a 600 euro's budget but not on 500. He could build this and add a GPU later but I mean why not wait and add it in one go?

I just asked a friend about it, and thats what he sent me:

2048MB HIS Radeon R9 270X Mini IceQ X² Boost 154Euro

1000GB Seagate Desktop HDD ST1000DM003 46 Euro

BitFenix Neos Midi Tower 35 Euro

400 Watt be quiet! Pure Power L8 Non-Modular 80+ Bronze 46 Euro

4GB G.Skill RipjawsX 45 Euro

AMD FX Series FX-6300 83 Euro

what do you think about it? would that be ok? changes? and if yes, whats the difference?

I know there is stuff missing, at least he added that.

Well I would recommend 8 Gb it will be ~25 euro's more expensive for that particular RAM but it is worth every damn euro. Seriously 8 Gb is really needed when you run a lot in the background when gaming. Also 270X above 270 doesn't give to much more performance but it is probably the best he could find, I just don't really see any future in AMD CPU's as that FX-6300 can only be upgraded to a 8320.

Overall yes the build looks good, I would get a bit more beefy PSU this is pretty much cutting it and it gives you no possibility to upgrade to anything else. If you can get the 600W PSU I linked.
