So I have brand new HyperX Clouds and they work just fine on the front port. The back ports are a different issue. The back seems to not be detecting these and I'm stumped on what to do. Every time I troubleshoot audio it tells me the jack to plug them in is in the front. Now the funny thing is I've had my speakers hooked up to my back port to maybe that's causing the issue? Windows also says that's it not connected which it is and I've triple checked.

EDIT: I've also noticed that it says my Speakers are using the Rear jack and headphones the front.

EDIT: Apparently my speakers are acting as my Headphones!

Speakers tend to have a special port for headphones for them, if yours does not try removing your speakers then plugging in the Headphones. wow i read this twice, a lil bit stumped too.

My speakers icon just didn't change. The headphones work it's just saying they're speakers so I guess i'll just roll with it.

find your audio manager, realtek is usually your manager for gigabyte, then rightclick on the right side or the jack picture then select "Connector Retasking" then select, from there you could select a variety of functional stuff like:

  1. Line In
  2. Headphones
  3. Fron Speaker Out
  4. Mic In
  5. Rear Speaker Out
  6. Center/Subwoofer Out
  7. Side Speaker Out

At least in MSI's Realtek Audio Manager its like that. MAY BE DIFFERENT THOUGH
