I've had my Dell Venue 7 for 11 months, and it has been very reliable, maybe crashes once a month, if that. In the last week it has been on the fritz. Multiple times a day, I will be using it, and the launcher along with half a dozen background apps and processes will crash, and the only thing to do is to soft reboot it. Today, it started frequently freezing up, and the only thing to do is to hard reboot it, and this would happen every few minutes. I did a factory reset, and that didn't help at all. I took the back cover off and turned it back on, now, if I plug it in or turn it on, instead of the usual Dell logo, it displays the Intel Inside TM logo (which I have never seen before) forever until I do a hard shutdown. Is this hardware damage (I will frequently leave in in the cold car), or have all the hard shutdowns finally done some error in the OS? I am on stock, unrooted 4.4.2 I unplugged the battery and plugged it back in, to no avail. Do I need to take it to a phone repair shop, or get a new one? My computer does not recognize it, so how can I flash a new rom to it?
