Hey guys! So I'd just like to share a quick mod idea I might try.

 

I have the Bitfenix Prodigy case and I was thinking of how I could possibly get a GPU with a Kraken G10 from NZXT to fit in there. It obviously had plenty of radiator possibilities, but the Kraken makes the GPU footprint equivalent to if it were to have a three slot cooler. Now since the Prodigy only has 2 expansion slots this obviously won't work right?

 

Well hold on there! Here's where my super complicated ultra modding idea/plan thing (it's not hard) comes in! The bracket itself doesn't need a slot, just the room for one. So what if one were to just

 

a. Cut a hole in the side panel (The not so elegant solution) or

b. make a custom side panel or window with a bulge to allow for the extra space needed!

 

 

Basically it would slightly change the look of the case, and one could try to mirror the effect if they saw it necessary. 

So what are your thought's on this? I for one am probably gonna go for it! I love a good challenge!

 

Feel free to ask questions and suggest ideas!

It would be a while. I still need 200 USD to get the machine up and running. Just an idea I had but I'll defiantly share when I can do it.
