Performance mouse MX left click problem

Hey guys, didn't see this exact problem posted anywhere, so wanna ask you:
My logitech performance MX left mouse just stays pressed down when clicked. I opened it up, nothing seems stuck (or i can't tell, the rear of the mouse buttons are a bit obscured).
I think the side of the mouse button has gotten unstuck further back than usual and it's not pulling the mouse button back up as it's not bending at the same point. I think I can use some glue to fix it, not 100% sure.
So far my temporary fix is putting a piece of folded up tinfoil on the side of the button, it seems to work for now but i need more force to press the button.
Anyone had similar issues? Possible fixes?
