I was just wondering I'm building a budget computer of about £530 worth of components, it can be slightly more if it has.

I was just wondering for a budget build should I use a AMD Fx - 6300 or a Intel Pentium G3258.  What motherboard should I use for them?

If anyone could recommend a whole computer build using PCPARTPICKER it would greatly appreciated, but can you please keep the pricing for the United Kingdom, as in the USA the prices are a lot cheaper.

Thank you

And you could grab some cheapo case fans like I did and have a very strong system that runs very cool. You can't do much better than this.

Inbe4 OMG NO SSD. An SSD here would impact the gaming performance significantly. I suggest getting an SSD later or stretching the budget if you really want one but if you can stretch the budget I suggest upgrading the GPU or the CPU

RIG: I7-4790k @ 4.5GHz | MSI Z97S SLI Plus | 12GB Geil Dragon RAM 1333MHz | Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970 (1550MHz core/7800MHz memory) @ +18mV(Maxed out at 1650/7800 so far) | Corsair RM750 | Samsung 840 EVO 120GB, 1TB Seagate Barracuda | Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 (Closed) | Sound Blaster Z                                                                                                                        Getting: Noctua NH-D15 | Possible 250GB Samsung 850 Evo                                                                                        Need a console killer that actually shits on every console? Here you go (No MIR/Promo)

This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861

Well a 6300 will perform better in multi threaded games and may not need to be upgraded as quickly whereas in games where the workload is only really dual core the pentuim K will destroy the 6300 but it also has the upgrade path of an i5 in the future.

Drop an i5 in later on and maybe a new GPU when you feel you need it.
