I got my cover around September from the Nvidia website. About a week ago, I noticed that the "hinges" started to develop some cracks (which eventually chipped off) that look like they are from stress related to opening and closing the cover. You can see in the pictures where it chipped.

You can also see the paint rubbing off from using the cover as a stand. The "SHIELD" lettering has rubbed off half way and you can see the white of the unpainted plastic to either end of the plastic median.

I already had the cover separate itself from the piece that attaches it to the tablet. It was fairly easy to attach back, but it's still kind of worrisome.
