Shaded spots on cpu?

Just got a new i5-4690k on amazon and I got these gray spots on the pin side

It can't be something electrical since I didn't get my power supply until yesterday and still don't have a motherboard until next week.

I noticed this a week ago, but I want to make sure nothing is going to happen with this since I ordered it about 2 weeks ago and I've been waiting to use it.

It has been kept in a plastic container from the shipping box, maybe could be thermal paste since I did take it out.

It's probably just a bit of oil or something.

I know it can't be major like a fried cpu, I just don't want a damaged cpu part where i'll have to wait even longer for my pc build.

If you put it in and it works, then it works. Nothing particularly bad is gonna happen.
