I got a Blue Screen once on Friday, Saturday, and now today. It has all happened while I was watching videos both youtube and non youtube so far. Could just be coincidence. I've went through CCCleaner, I've updated graphics drivers. It just started up randomly on Friday. The newest thing I've added was 8gb more Memory but that was about 2 weeks ago now. What could be the problem?

Sounds like a GPU problem to me. If you have by any chance, have a way to test your system with another GPU, you could give it a try. Clean installing Windows is also an option. Maybe clean installing GPU drivers? But yeah, fastest way would be to test your system with a different GPU just to be sure.

is it the same ram? ( new ram or added to what you had )?

is it firmly seated?

have you tried a cmos reset?

Exact same memory, added to my previous 8gb, yes it's seated well.

did you try a cmos reset?

did you bump the ram voltage by a hair? sometimes you need to do this when adding more ram.

did you rum memtest? or windows built in mem test?

did you run the new ram alone?

did you run the new ram in the old rams slots alone?

I will look at that when I get to it, but I've had the ram for some time now. All of the bsod's just started friday.

Firsty, try turn off hardware acceleration in your browers and then I'd recommend updating your sata and network drivers.

Will try.

didn't bump a sata connector while messing around inside the case did you?

try and under clock the graphics card.

do window updates.

No new windows updates, I didn't bump anything and I don't see how under clocking the graphics card would help. It's not at max performance all the time, it's auto.

It's weird because It doesn't happen the second I start watching something. I can be hours into watching and then it does it.

it says 760OC in your discription. I'm trying to eliminate ther card as a problem. if you under clock the card it could help.

It's factory overclocked btw, I didn't overclock it.

EXACTLY............... a lot of these over clocked cards are shipped (overclocked) at near death(max capabilities). if the OC is good enough and the card is stable when it leaves nobody cares.

1097Mhz isn't "near death." I can boost it to 1150 without any problems. I've had the card for over a year with no issues.

There's no point in underclocking when watching videos doesn't even make it go to it's max clock speed. It's at 135Mhz while watching videos.

Might have found the issue. Memory was at like 1120 something Mhz instead of 1600 in BIOS. Also, the Multiplier for the CPU was at like 216. My BIOS does some weird stuff once and a while.

May take a bit but from what i'm looking at, do what everyone has said. reset CMOS, Reset ram, Make sure all rame are the same and running at the same speed, reinstall GPU Drivers (do a clean install).

Are you able to find and send me the .DMP files?

I will say this right now that I am brand new at diagnosing BSOD but you have to start somewhere :) and it will give me something to do for the next little bit :)

I will do the rest, however I want to wait and see if changing the ram speed and cpu clock multiplier to default in BIOS might have fixed it. I will have to see if I get another BSOD.

EDIT: Scratch that. I will just do the cmos and graphics driver uninstall/reinstall now.
