Dual Graphics Help!!!

Go to solution Solved by Chevaishr,

this is how it works you need to use the onboard video even with hybrid graphics

As far as I know, in multi-gpu configurations there is always a master chip, which also provides display output as well as controlling the xfire or sli setup.

I think in your case you can simply go and check your system settings (driver settings) to see whether your crossfire is working fine or not, it's probably just that in your case your embedded gpu ended up as the master chip and is providing output.

Again, just check settings, I think you're fine :)

What settings? Where do i find them? Do you mean in the BIOS?

Thanks

Check the list for supported GPUs. Each individual APU has different cards that are supported, yours may not. I don't know exactly so please don't quote me on that...

The APU he has has an embedded HD6550, since it's the same architecture as 6670, crossfire logic should be alright with it.

Of course checking the official list is more valid I guess.

The Crossfire works fine (or at least it should), its selected on the ccc, but i want to know why there is no output from the graphics card, and should i be outputting from it as its the bigger gpu ?? Thats what i want to know.

Thanks
