Currently Building, Need Help!

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I couldn't tell.

I have a case which came preinstalled with this wire which tells me to plug it into CPU_FAN on the motherboard.

Im using an after market CPU cooler and in the tutorial Im using the guy said to plug the wire from the cooler into CPU_FAN which I have.

Now I notice there is another set of pins called CPU_OPT

What does OPT stand for? Optional? Should I plug the wire connected to the case into CPU_FAN and the aftermarket wire into CPU_OPT?

I think it stands for optional, but any information you need is in your mainboard manual.
