Okay so...newbie question...

I've got my GTX 970 installed and everything works great.  However, one question about the cable set up...

I've got both of the PCIE ports plugged in on a single cable.  Is this nescessary? Or can I go with just the one plugged in?

This questions keeps coming up so often... It is completely fine! Thats the reason the pcie cables have two connectors. In most powersupplys the +12v is supplied over a single rail which means that it makes absolutely no difference to the psu if you use two cables or one.
