Help with teamspeak

Guys im trying to set up a teamspeak server and its not working out so well.Need some help.I have a static IP and to my knowledge opened up ports 9987,10011 and 30033. Nobody can connect to it though

Set a static ip in your computer/server then set that ip to static in your router and then forward the ports to that ip in your router.

You might need to disable the firewall in your computer/router or allow these ports.

Ports being used by Teamspeak as mentioned by their support:

 

 

• Default  port (UDP in): 9987
• Default filetransfer port (TCP in): 30033
• Default serverquery port (TCP in): 10011
• Default weblist port (UDP out): 2010
• Default tsdns port (TCP in): 41144
• Default accounting port (TCP out): 2008

 

EDIT: What's your general location?

Make sure the LAN IP Address you port-fowarded to is the correct one (It should be the local IP of the computer you are running the Teamspeak server on.

PS: You don't need to blur out you Local IP addresses, we can't do anything with them

If it's just about having a TS-Server right now I can offer you one for the meantime.

I checked using ipconfig/all and it  corresponds with the IPv4 of the computers wifi card

Is the Teamspeak server .exe unblocked in your firewall/antivirus?

 

PS: If you need a temporary TS server you can use mine for the meantime and just make your own channel

I was having an issue with my ISP assigning me IPv6 or rather preparing for IPv6, which resulted in me not being able to portforward at all.

 

I had to call them and ask if they could switch me over to sole IPv4 and since then it works flawlessly.

Well that's your problem, try resetting your router to default settings?

well resetting the router took forever.Tried to find default password turns  out its  under the router derp

Is your router connecting to 4G or regular cable/fiber internet?

4G is that why it cant work?

I'm thinking that may be why I found a couple other posts where people had issues port-fowarding using that router when using 4G.

I knew that thing would bite me in the ass someday. Should have teied to persuade my dad to go with a conventional network rather than that thingymagic and hey i appreciate the offer.
