My power supply is 500 watts. I Don't know which form it is but the last time I opened my computer I took pictures and the model number is "DPS-500AB-B A". The power supply is made by Delta Electronics.

I want to get a power supply with at least 600 watts, semi modular at least, and somewhere in the range of 40 to 70 dollars. Also It should be a well known brand like Corsair or EVGA.

The reason why I'm upgrading is because I haven't seen a jump in performance since I've upgraded my gpu from the gtx 760 to the gtx 780. I looked on Nvidia's website, and It said that the Minimum Recommended System Power for the 760 is 500W, and the Minimum Recommended System Power for the 780 is 600W. So I'm hoping this upgrade will give me the performance boost I was looking for. Also I've been hoping, for when I have the money, to buy a gtx 980, and have my 780 and 980 in a SLI configuration. Do think that is possible???

Delta make pretty solid power supplies, this one also happens to be 80 certified. You'll be fine without having to upgrade the current PSU for an upgrade to a GTX 780.
It's not possible to SLI a 980 and a 780.
The reason Nvidia recommends a 600W is if someone buys a complete lemon of a power supply it'll still work.

If you are set on upgrading though the power supply recommended by themaniac is very good for the price.

Just making sure you were aware, some people get them mixed up, go on recommending something that isn't what they believe it is.

I apologize for the confusion.

Alright thanks, I'll look into this power supply

Oh, and do you know if it has the same form as the one mine might be, I can't find any information on my PSU's form. If you want I'll try to attach the pictures of my power supply. it's only the one side with the stickers on it. Well, there is one picture that shows the other face with the fan, but that just shows the entire inside case.
