ok,

so some time ago  afriend of mine came by and we used his joystick to play some games, I forgot to center the controlls before he left. now since then most of my games have either had the camera locked spinning to the left/up and in some games like battlefeild 4 I am constantly fiering. now most games allow me to desable controllers or change the settings so that it works, but some games don't and I simply can't play them?

I have no idea how to fix this please help.

Unplug the device and replug it with the joystick in the right position? Or really.. just leave it unplugged if you're not using it, save yourself a headache.

sadly does not work as he is no longer living near me and it was one of the flight joysticks and I only have  an xbox controller

So, wait, it is NOT plugged in your computer, but somehow "affecting" it, still?
You're sure it's not just the xbox controller that has a faulty joystick?

Did you check if it was in Control Panel > Devices and Printers ?
If it's not, I'd sooner blame the xbox controller.

unplugging the xbox controller does not help. even when I unplug every usb plug from the computer it spins.
