Hi guys, i have the Corsair Forcs GS series 128GB and i have an issue, my computer boots as fast as my cousin's pc who doesn;t have an SSD.

Actually his pc boots in 19 secs and mine boots at 21 secs... Do you know why? I have i5 3570 CPU ,Gigabyte GA-B75-D3V Mobo and Corsair Vengeance Blue 8GB @1600MHz Ram. His PC has i5 4460 , an H97 mobo , 8GB Kingston Savage Ram and a HDD @7200RPM (cheap one).

And before you ask anything funny, NO i don;t have my ssd connected to sata 2 (3GB/s).

So any ideas what to do to make my pc faster? Does it requires any Bios or anything else to set so it will be ok?

Thanks for all the answers!

AHCI. Intel chipset controller. Better SATA cable. Make sure it's in SATA 0, not 1. Those are the usual answers.

Another piece of datum... older ssd's, like Corsair have a problem between the sandforce controller and the Haswell chipset. AFAIK that's an issue that can't be fixed, you just have to buy a new, current drive. This does not refer to the newer gen ssd's. Where the cutoff is, I don't know.

Sir William of Orange: Corsair 230T - Rebel Orange, 4690K, GA-97X SOC, 16gb Dom Plats 1866C9,  2 MX100 256gb, Seagate 2tb Desktop, EVGA Supernova 750-G2, Be Quiet! Dark Rock 3, DK 9008 keyboard, Pioneer BR drive. Yeah, on board graphics - deal with it!
