I would love to see where this goes. I was thinking the exact same thing today with my goliathus.

Hi Jelle,

Thank you for contacting Razer Support.

Razer recommends cleaning Goliathus Speed pad simply with a damp cloth. Unlike some other pads the speed edition does clean quite easily, however I would suggest to use some sort of detergent on it to really remove your existing body oils that have stuck to the pad over a period of time.

If you have any other inquiries, please let me know and I will be happy to assist you. Thank you for supporting Razer!

I use a microfiber cloth and a spray bottle with water in it (I do this about once a month). It works for my Corsair cloth mouse pad, however it tends to fray the edges of the pas if you're not careful. Might not help you if your pad is especially dirty though.

I just dunk my Steelseries Qck into a sink full of warm water and some soap. Gets the dirt and crap from your arm out of it. Only problem is that you have to give it a while to get the water completely out before you put it back on your desk, but just roll it up in a towel and it'll be dry in ~15 minutes.

I have a razer manticor and I realized there's dirt building up on the pad making it quite tough at some part. I'm not sure if I'm able to use a damp cloth to clean it since its an aluminium board and I'm afraid there's some sort of coating which I might accidentally clean it.
