Upgrade time,

alexyy

So I'll be getting a new CPU, Motherboard and Case.

Here's what I have so far

7a94e6f1cdbe4e881862f01d28d249e1.png

Power supply For the 10 year warranty and it generally kicks ass.

The motherboard was chosen for its overclocking abilities and it's onboard audio which I've been told is very good.

CPU well you don't need a i7 for gaming.

Case Looks awesome, built like a tank and it favors silence like me.

Anyone got any input?

Upgrades look good depend on what you run now if you need it. I like the H440 cases more but that is personal taste.

Personally if I was going along the lines of a H440 I'd rather pick up a S340

You still have very, very, very good stuff :D

I'd personally go with something like 970 and a nice cooler so you could overclock that CPU :D

Well I want a better motherboard, in general, I'm not i need of a GPU yet I'm only running 1080p, and my i5 is already overclocked to 4.8ghz via h110 which i was going to use for the 4690k but I may just hold off for a while.

If it's that much, why do you need a new CPU O.o

You might as well save that money (maybe upgrade your RAM, you can never have enough of it! NEVER!) and make a more substantial upgrade next time :)

The S340 is a bit smaller compared to a 440 again it was my personal taste. I wouldn't do much changing of parts either as it looks pretty solid for now. I mean you can better fully change it, then do it partly when it is really unnecessary.
