so i got this problem that sometimes my music will lagg for a second, on the 18th of november i did a clean install of windows and i havent had the issue since.. til today where i was downloading bf4 and reading something on wikipeadia while listening to music in windows media player.

halway in the song it lagged for 0.5-1second and i dont really get why as my system should be good enough for music and all that.

i got the newest drivers + audio driver aswell

specs: 4690k oc to 4.2ghz

r9 290 tri x

8gb 1600mhz ram

2000gb hdd where games and music is stored

120gb ssd where os and drivers are installed, also where windows mediaplayer is installed.

wow that was said wrongly.. erhm what i mean is that my issue isnt as bad as hers. my music has only done the lagg 4-5times or so since since the start of september. it just bugs me thats all

lol

well it cant hurt to increase your buffer (except it will increase latency a bit) but if you dont mind it then OK...

plus if you want an easy fix is to make whatever you are playing music with (be it windows media player, vlc, or browser) be a higher priority (high versus normal) like this picture

lol im a tab fiend but this is a good demonstration
