First, I admit I am am new to building PCs, and don't know much about them, however I did build my current desktop so I've got the basics down.

 

I have 2 simple questions

1.  Are any of the parts I picked ones that should be stayed away from, and could you offer a replacement item?

2.  Any suggestions on possibly better parts for an equivalent cost?  I am open to changes but without spending more money.  I few dollars here or there is fine however.
