dirt 3 help please!

hi guy,when i play dirt 3 i get large black bars on top and bottom of the screen is there anything i can do to fix this? i have a 24" 1080p display and ive tried all the different ration.

During races or just in the menus/cutscenes?

try changing the relational if not they are added by the dev to make a "cinematic" affect, some games do that but idk if d3 dose
