k70 Ghosting?

Go to solution Solved by SeanBond,

yeah, but membranes are better considering the price difference, btw. all corsair's cost more than 110€ on amazon.de and the apex costs 70€ and has lights too

'MERICA. I eventually went and got myself the g710+ with some brown switches. Didn't really care for them at first but I think they are growing on me quick. Need to do some testing to make sure there is no ghosting. I personally don't care for the g keys on the left but I think that's something else I can get used to. Switching from the k70 to the g710+ costed me 3 dollars. Best buy price matches with amazon.

Sometimes when I play BF4 and I really put some effort into it I can get some ghosting on my corsair k70. It take a good deal of actions to actually recreate and I can't seem to do it other games. But I don't play anything else competetive right now. But I am constantly missing inputs on movement because of this. This isn't the first time I have had issues with the keyboard, when I first got it I had no up arrow input until I restored windows. So clearly the k70 is being affected by windows 7 in some weird way I cannot explain. I was thinking of switching it out for a k65 rgb, as it has completely different firmware and drivers for it I was wondering if anyone thinks that it will actually make a difference in my issue?

I was also thinking of taking another look at the logitech g710 but when I tested it out in best buy it felt....bah icky. But there weird thing is I am in love with mx blues and razer greens, I just hate the noise. Therefore I should love browns right? I don't know.

you could get a Steelseries Apex, its cheaper and looks good, but the Corsairs are so expensive, how can they not work properly

It isn't always expensive=good. For example, beats, pre-built(alienware) and sometimes razer or ubisoft.

My Current PC Codename: Scrapper

Spoiler

Intel i5-3570 | Some LGA 1155 MOBO Some Generic DDR3 8GB 1600Mhz | PowerColor RX 560 2GB | Recycled HP Case Crucial MX100 128GB 1TB WD Blue 7200RPM | Some Generic 500w PSU | Intel Stock Cooler

I got my k70 for 115, how is that so expensive when compared to the Apex? That keyboard is 100. And the k70 is fully mechanical cherry mx keys vs whatever random key is in the apex they don't seem to tell you on the site. But they are clearly not cherry.

I don't think you understand the definition of "mechanical keyboard" as well as you think. I am going to assume this is some sort of membrane key switch isn't it?
