quick memory question

Go to solution Solved by No One Puts A Real Name,

yes, its same.

the compatibility issue happens when you buy 1 stick now and another stick later. buying kits is better IMO because its already optimized.

is 2 "Corsair 16GB (2x8192MB) CL9 1866Mhz DOMINATOR PLATINUM" the same as 1x "Corsair 32GB (4x8192MB) CL9 1866Mhz DOMINATOR PLATINUM"?

the store i order at is out of 32gb kits while they have 16gb kits in stock so i thought buying 2 16gb kits would be the same as one 32gb kit?

im asking this because i remember reading somewhere that even if the memory is the same sometimes it will not be compatible
