You don't need to use the power adapters if your power supply has all the required connectors (Probably 2x6pin connectors required, or 1x8pin and 1x6pin)

My EVGA GeForce GTX 980 ACX 2.0 came with two packages of adapters Here is an example of what they look like. In the manual it says if my graphics card comes with it I need to use it, and my psu came with the other end of the connector, but I'm a little confused on how to set it up, each one has two heads?
