So I have some compression fittings now but, I'm not really happy with them. I know compression fittings don't have to go down all the way, but I'd like them to get close. Anyone have recommendations on brand? I know Koolance has some ones you can tighten by hand or tool. I would just like my compression fittings to be all the way screwed on and snug. Any advice on brands or personal experience would be helpful.

EK & Bitspower have good fittings

Are they worth $10 a fitting? Have you used them before? (bitspower)

Look at 20:35. Just by hand tightening it he gets it all the way snug. Can't even get that close with my current fittings. But ya thanks. I did know Bitspower was pretty good, I think I'll just order one fitting and try it out first.

I've used both Bitspower and Koolance and never had an issue.  As far as tightening them all the way, it really comes down to the combination of the brand of tubing and fittings.  For example, during one of my last builds I used a combination of Koolance (quick disconnects) and Bitspower fittings with PrimoChill tubing.  The Bitspower could be tightened 85-90% the way but the Koolance only went about 75% of the way.  To me, it makes more sense that the Koolance fittings had less potential to leak, being that they were a tighter fit.  If you're able to tighten them 100% I would be concerned

Edit:  For what it's worth I typically tighten hand tight then use a wrench or pliers for another 3/4ish turn
